The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated for those children from newborn up until six years old. Baptisms are held on the fourth Saturday of the month. Registration is required at least one to two months in advance. To register, come to the Parish Office with the County Birth Certificate. Before the date can be saved the following must be complete: parents' baptismal registration form; parents permission letter to baptize (if needed) Godparent Commitment Forms, pre-baptismal class and suggested offering of $40.00 which covers the Baptism and the Baptismal class.
This is a two-year program. We begin with grade 2 and go through the eighth grade. Registration begins in June and ends the week before classes begin in September. The Sacrament is celebrated in May.
Registration starts June 15, 2018
All children are encouraged to attend mass weekly, as part of their Sacrament.
For couples inquiring about getting married they must call the office at least six months prior, to begin the process and needed paperwork. An appointment with our Priest would be the first step. If the couple has not received their Confirmation, they should enroll in the RCIA program.
Confirmation & LifeTeen
The process for Confirmation is a two year program with its foundation centered on the Eucharist celebrated at our Life Teen Mass, but also includes small and large group sessions, discussions, reflection, prayer, retreats, service opportunities, and social gatherings.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults
RCIA is intended to instruct in the Catholic Faith those who are seeking to enter into full communion with the Catholic Church through Baptism and/or Confirmation and Holy Communion.
6-12 month program.
Registration begins in June and classes start in September.
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults – Adapted
RCIA-A is a program designed for children who have not received the sacraments of Christian initiation - Baptism, First Eucharist, and Confirmation. RCIA-A is preparation for these Sacraments and for reception into the Roman Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil.
Here at St. Madeleine we believe that by reason of their baptism, all Catholics are equal in dignity in the sight of God, and have the same divine calling.
